2023 wrap-up

Hey there, peeps! The year is ending, and here are the month's topics:

Sales data:

December was a good month in the sales department. I got two sales and, surprisingly, 38 KENP read. The person seems to have DNFd before the end, but it's still good to see someone reading Coward on KU. I was starting to think something was wrong.

As a whole, 2023 was an excellent year for me. I started using social media to promote Coward more actively, and am very satisfied with the results. I am also INCREDIBLY happy to have gotten to know so many amazing people in the writing community. Thank you SO much!

2023 data:

• 69 paid sales
• 2536 free downloads
• 339 KENP read

Ratings & stuff:

At the start of the year, I only had a small handful of ratings. Around 6 or so. And look at Coward now! 19 ratings on US Amazon, 17 on Brazilian Amazon, and 20 on Goodreads. This makes me SO happy! A huge thanks to everyone who took the time to rate!

Writing update:

This month, I focused my efforts on editing WIP #2, which is probably going to be my next release. The edits are going well, and next month I'll hopefully be able to revise and start translating it to Portuguese!

I haven't forgotten WIP #1, of course. But it's still with betas, and it'll probably take a while for them to finish, and I don't want to just sit twiddling my thumbs. So work I shall! I'll continue to update you as I go.

2023 achievements:

Despite all the craziness of this year, I managed to accomplish a fair bit:

• Started using social media more actively.
• Wrote a first draft (WIP #2).
• Finished editing and revising WIP #1.
• Wrote (and published!) a short story.
• Made my own website.
• Read and reviewed several books (I should have kept better track of this).

Future plans:

January:

• Finish editing and start translating WIP #2.
• Hopefully get more feedback on WIP #1.

2024 as a whole:

• Translate and publish WIP #2.
• Query for WIP #1 (or just translate it and self-publish lol).
• Resume work on my other WIPs.

The end:
